Rahel Solomon is an Ethiopian-American television journalist who currently works at CNN, where she hosts the 2025 edition of Early Start and works as a business reporter. She joined the CNN family in April 2022, bringing along a wealth of experience in both general and business news reporting.
Before her time at CNN, Solomon was with CNBC, stationed at their global headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, where she covered business and financial news. Earlier in her career, she honed her skills as a multimedia journalist at WSAZ-TV in Charleston, West Virginia, gaining valuable hands-on newsroom experience.
