Sharla, former Evening News Anchor at WNEP-TV 16 from 2015 to March 2020 in Pennsylvania, held the position of Co-anchor for the 6 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, and 11 pm newscasts on weeknights for the local ABC affiliate. In this role, she was responsible for producing and anchoring nightly teases and also took charge of producing and anchoring the 10 pm newscast.
Prior to her role as Evening News Anchor, Sharla served as the Sports Anchor/Reporter at WNEP-TV from 2008 to 2015. During this time, she covered a wide range of sports, including MLB, MiLB, NFL, AHL, NASCAR and Penn State, as well as local colleges and high school sports.
