She first began her career at the age of 19 performing various comedic skits before switching her work to uploading videos on Youtube. Akana also appeared in American pop singer and songwriter Kary Perry’s music video for Last Friday Night back in 2011. Her most recent roles are in Hooking Up (2020), Let It Snow (2019), Home Economics (2021) and Jupiter’s legacy (2021).
