Carolyn Bruck WCNC
In August 2015, Carolyn relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina to anchor the morning show for the NBC affiliate. After six years, she transitioned to the evening news team at WCNC in October 2021.
Carolyn began her journalism career in Redding, California as a “one-man band” for KHSL/KNVN, where she covered, filmed, and edited daily news stories. She later moved to KSEE 24, the NBC affiliate in Fresno, California, where she became known for her expertise in live breaking news and investigative reporting.
During her time there, she was given the unique opportunity to develop and anchor a new weekly half-hour news program that incorporated social media activity, viewer-generated content, and trending online topics into the newscast.
In addition to anchoring the 7 pm newscast, Carolyn also anchored the 11 pm nightly news at KSEE. Seeking new challenges, Carolyn then moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she served as the weekday morning anchor for the ABC and Fox affiliates on Good Day Columbus. This role gave her the chance to showcase different facets of her personality while honing her skills as a hard news anchor, as she anchored 4.5 hours of programming for two different affiliates.
