She began her duties at the station as a Health Reporter before she was promoted to a regular morning anchor. Before joining FOX 2, Clifford worked as a reporter and anchor at WPGH-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also worked as a reporter at WLFL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina.
