Christopher Charles Cuomo is an American television journalist and anchor at NewsNation, based in New York City. He previously served as ABC News’ chief law and justice correspondent, co-anchored 20/20, and was the news anchor for Good Morning America from 2006 to 2009. At CNN, he co-hosted the morning show New Day from 2013 to May 2018 before launching Cuomo Prime Time in June 2018.
Cuomo is the brother of Andrew Cuomo, the 56th governor of New York (2011–2021), and the son of Mario Cuomo, the 52nd governor of New York (1983–1994). In December 2021, CNN fired him after reports surfaced that he had assisted in his brother’s defense against sexual harassment allegations. He later joined Nexstar Media Group, where he now hosts Cuomo on NewsNation.
