Courtney currently serves as a weeknight co-anchor of FOX 5 News at 5 pm, 6 pm and 10 pm in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining FOX 5 News, she worked as an evening news anchor at KMOV-TV in St. Louis, Missouri. While at KMOV-TV, she served as a weekday evening 5 pm, 6 pm and 10 pm newscasts. She also enterprise stories, and wrote and delivered live reports for weekday 10 pm newscasts. She was one of the two reporters who had the opportunity to interview the Missouri governor Eric Greitens, after resigning following allegations of sexual misconduct and blackmail.
In 2016, she reported the presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton at Washington University and led extended breaking news coverage of area-wide unrest following the acquittal of St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley.
