Dan Roan is a retired American broadcast journalist who used to work as the evening sportscaster for WGN News based in Chicago, Illinois. He is also worked as a weekend WGN News sports anchor since February 1984. Before WGN, Roan had spent a couple of years working as the sports director for WCIA TV back in the late 1970s. He currently holds several awards and accolades for hosting and co-producing WGN’s NBA and Major League Baseball telecasts.
