She chose to overcome her shyness by inventing Eyes On The Game in order to force herself to talk when her Olympic dreams came to an abrupt halt. She then turned her apprehension into a career. Helen rose to national popularity with Eyes On The Game after being the first to interview and confirm with Floyd Mayweather Sr. that his son would come out of retirement to fight Conor McGregor.
Helen was a competitive swimmer for ten years before embarking on her media career, training 3-6 hours per day, six days a week. She’s always enjoyed establishing goals and working hard to achieve them. She understands how to push herself past her boundaries because of the level of discipline and commitment required to be a top-level swimmer, and this experience helps her relate to the athletes she meets with. She applies the same work ethic to her current job as well. Helen’s swimming career was cut short due to an unexpected injury, but Cody Miller, her old training partner, and teammate on the Las Vegas Sandpipers qualified for the 2016 Olympics.
