She first appeared on Teleantioquia, a regional channel, where she hosted several news shows. She made her national television debut on Noticiero CM& in 1998. She joined Telemundo three years later, where she hosted the weekend edition of Noticiero Telemundo as well as a segment on the now-defunct morning show Cada Da con Mara Antonieta.
