Jane made her acting debut in the NBC soap opera ‘Search for Tomorrow’ as Theresa Rebecca Kendall aka “T.R” from 1984 until December 26, 1986, when the show was canceled. From 1997 to 2002, she played Elaine Vassal in the television series Ally McBeal. Krakowski’s most notable acting role began in 2006 when she was cast as Jenna Maroney on the comedy series 30 Rock. In 2009, 2010, and 2013, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Krakowski received her fifth Emmy nomination in 2015 for her role as Jacqueline White in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Primetime Emmy Award nomination. She guest starred in an episode of Due South, and in multiple episodes of Modern Family.
