Previously, he served as a morning and noon meteorologist for WTWO TV in Terre Haute, Indiana. Jay even worked as a fill-in weather anchor and field reporter for WLNS-TV in Lansing, Michigan. He was also hired permanently for the Commercial Weather Services (CWS) after his college graduation.
