Jim Rose is an American retired journalist, sports anchor and reporter who served as a sports anchor at ABC7 in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the ABC7 station in April 1982 and retired on September 15, 2023, after working at the station for 41 years. With an experience of more than 39 years, he has covered many reports concerning sports across the state. He anchored the 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. sports reports as well as covering all of the Chicago area sports teams.
