John began co-hosting the TYT University show with Ana Kasparian, a political commentator and TYT producer, in January 2012. The show aired from March 15, 2011 to December 31, 2014, and it addressed issues faced by university students. It was later renamed ThinkTank, after Iadarola, the creator of the second most popular show on the TYT Network on YouTube. He went on to become the show’s main host as well as an executive producer, along with co-host Hannah Cranston, and it premiered on January 1, 2015. It also had different hosts and topics, but the target demographic remained the same.

Iadarola co-hosted several TYT shows while hosting ThinkTank, including The Young Turks, TYT Sports, What the Flick?!, Pop Trigger, TwentyTwelve, and The Point. In May 2013, he began appearing on his own independent YouTube channel. On the channel, he discusses foreign and domestic politics, technology, media criticism, and social commentary on current events. He appeared on the series “The Ultimate Guide to Sounding Smart” on History Channel in 2017. During the same year, while co-hosting True North with Chavala Madlena, they traveled to the Arctic to film the docu-series, which focused on the effects of climate change. When TYT Network was included in the YouTube OTT service in May 2018, a new daily show was also announced, “The Damage Report”. Iadarola became one of the hosts of the show as well as a producer on the show.
