Kristin’s journalism career also took her to her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. As a reporter for WXYZ/WMYD, she covered several high-profile stories, including the corruption trial of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, the Renisha McBride murder case, and the Flint water crisis.
