Kyrsten Sinema is an American politician and Social Worker well recognized for serving as the senior United States Senator for the Arizona State. Previously, she served three terms as a state representative for the 16th legislative district from 2005 to 2011. In 2013, Sinema finished three terms as the representative of the 9th district until 2019. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Kyrsten is the first openly bisexual politician and the second LGBT woman after Tammy Baldwin from Wisconsin to be elected to the House of Representatives. She is also considered as a moderate Democrat after she was confirmed to be the 47th most conservative member of the Senate in a 2019 analysis.
