Born and raised in Utah Valley, her passion for weather was sparked at nine years old after learning about tornadoes in her 4th Grade Science class. Captivated by the subject, she set her sights on becoming a broadcast meteorologist from a young age.
Her career began in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as the Chief Meteorologist for the local FOX affiliate. She then moved to Reno, Nevada, where she served as the Weekend Meteorologist for the NBC affiliate. In 2004, Lindsay returned to Utah and joined the 2News Weather Team.
