Maria Shriver is an American television journalist, author, and former First Lady of California (2003–2011). Maria is best known as a reporter for the NBC program Dateline. Maria was the wife of the former Governor of California and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, from whom she filed for divorce in 2011.
