Mike Caplan is an American broadcast meteorologist currently serving as a weather anchor and reporter for FOX 32 WFLD News based in Chicago, Illinois. Before FOX 32, he worked as the chief weather anchor for WTVD in Raleigh-Durham in 1987. Caplan even appeared as an evening meteorologist for WLS News in Chicago for close to two years before announcing his official departure from the station.

He is a native of Chicago who first began his career as a weekend meteorologist for WSL News in Chicago.
