Rob currently serves as the co-anchor of ABC 7’s top-rated 4 PM weekday news, alongside Judy Hsu since May 2016. He joined ABC 7 News On 7 July 2015 as a fill-in anchor and reporter. Before joining ABC 7 News, he worked as the afternoon news anchor and late evening news reporter at NBC in Chicago.
On his arrival at ABC7, the vice ABC 7’s Vice President of News Jennifer Graves described him as an experienced journalist with an established strong connection with Chicago viewers after covering and suburbs for 13 years.
Rob as an award-winning journalist, has been able to win many Emmy awards including his Emmy for coverage of a severe tornado in the area. He also covered a tornado outbreak that devastated the small town of Naplate, Illinois.
