He then relocated to New York, where he established Dutch West, a comedy group dedicated to producing online comedy videos. CollegeHumor discovered him in 2006, leading to his appointment as the Director of Original Content. His role expanded, and he became the President of Original Content coinciding with the premiere of The CollegeHumor Show on MTV in 2009.

In 2014, Reich founded Big Breakfast, an offshoot production company of CollegeHumor, and relocated the video team to Los Angeles. The company went on to create various shows, including Adam Ruins Everything, Middle of the Night Show, Time Traveling Bong, The British, I Want My Phone Back, Bad Internet, and Rhett and Link’s Buddy System. Collaborating with CollegeHumor, he worked on music videos with “Weird Al” Yankovic and former First Lady Michelle Obama.

On January 8, 2020, Reich announced the acquisition of CollegeHumor from IAC, transforming it into CHMedia, along with the streaming service Dropout. He oversees the content on Dropout and hosts shows like Game Changer and Make Some Noise.

In 2023, Reich revealed plans to retire the CollegeHumor brand name and rebrand it as Dropout.
