Sandra started her television career by landing her first job in the industry at WTAJ, the CBS affiliate located in Altoona, Pennsylvania. After gaining valuable experience there for two years, she decided to venture into the bustling Motor City and joined WJBK. At WJBK, Sandra became the anchor for the highly-rated weekend editions of “Fox 2 News at 6” and “Fox 2 News at 10,” while also reporting for Fox 2 News.

She spent an impressive 13 years at WDIV, where she anchored the station’s weekend newscasts at 6 and 11 p.m. In addition, Sandra filled in during the week as a substitute anchor and also worked as a franchise reporter, contributing to the station’s special projects unit.
