Stephanie Hamill is an American journalist and political commentator who currently serves as a video columnist for The Daily Caller, a 24-hour news publication known for its original reporting, in-depth commentary, and breaking news coverage. Additionally, she co-hosts Like It Or Not, a talk show airing on WTTG-TV, a Fox affiliate in Washington, D.C.
Before joining The Daily Caller and FOX5, Hamill worked as an advisor for the National Diversity Coalition for Trump, a group that strongly supported President Donald J. Trump and his administration.
Hamill is widely recognized for her work at One America News Network (OANN), where she was a conservative political commentator, fill-in host, and producer for The Daily Ledger Show. She joined OANN in June 2013, just before the network’s official launch, and remained there until January 2018.
Before her time at OANN, Hamill worked as a general assignment reporter and anchor for KSWT News 13, a CBS affiliate covering parts of Arizona, California, and Mexico. During her tenure, she covered major stories including the capital murder trial of Preston Alton Strong, the Dome Valley double suicide, and the Figueroa murder case. She frequently reported on crime, court proceedings, immigration and border issues, drug cartels, the military, politics, and education. One of her most notable assignments included a fly-along with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in an F-16 fighter jet at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma.
Before launching her career in broadcast journalism, Hamill worked on a statewide Senate campaign in Arizona. She served as assistant political director for Rodney Glassman’s 2010 U.S. Senate campaign, in which he won the Democratic nomination but lost to Republican incumbent John McCain in the general election.
A graduate of the University of Arizona’s School of Broadcast Journalism, Hamill gained valuable experience through various internships. She interned for the Vice Mayor of Tucson, worked full-time with Arizona Capitol Television at the State Capitol, and contributed to Arizona Public Media on shows like Arizona Illustrated and Arizona Connection.
