Suzanne is an Emmy award-winning journalist currently serving as the weekdays morning co-anchor of “CBS2 This Morning at 4:30 am, 5 am, 6 am and 11 am.” at KCBS | CBS in Los Angeles. She joined CBS2 News in 2011 as an entertainment reporter and later she was promoted to the position of news anchoring in 2018. Before joining CNS2 News, she worked as a news and entertainment reporter and filled in as an anchor for “Good Day Los Angeles” at KTTV in Los Angeles.
Marques developed her passion for journalism at a young age. She was Editor in Chief for her elementary school newspaper, at Rio San Gabriel in Downey. While attending the university, she began her own blog, which led to a job after graduating. After finishing her university education, she landed a job at KNBC as a web producer. Later she headed to Eureka where she secured a job as a weekend anchor and reporter at KIEM.
Prior to working at KIEM, she moved to Bakersfield, where she anchored the morning show for the first time. She later headed to Atlanta to work as a reporter at WXIA where she received an Emmy award for her reports.
