Tim Drawbridge is a well-known American meteorologist who currently anchors at WNYT, making his return to the station in March 2025. He had previously been part of the WNYT team from January 2007 until July 2013. Before coming back, Tim spent nine years as a meteorologist and multimedia journalist at WTEN-TV in Albany, New York. He also took on the role of a freelance play-by-play broadcaster for The NFHS Network and Capital Region Sports Net.

Tim kicked off his broadcasting journey in December 1993 in Burlington, Vermont, and went on to work at various television stations in Lexington, Kentucky; Lansing, Michigan; and Fort Myers, Florida, before finally returning to Upstate New York in September 2003.

Even though he stepped away from local television in October 2022 to dedicate more time to his daughter, Drawbridge kept his foot in the door by providing remote weather coverage for stations across the Northeast and Kentucky from his home studio.

On top of his meteorology duties, Tim also enjoys moonlighting as a play-by-play broadcaster, a gig he started in November 2018. He frequently calls high school football, flag football, volleyball, and basketball games at both sectional and state levels, and he’s one of the voices behind the Glens Falls Greenjackets semi-professional football team.
