Thomas Kerridge is an English chef with a Michelin star who has mostly worked in the UK. He decided at the age of 18 to enroll in culinary school after beginning his career as a child actor with a few small roles on television. Since then, he has worked at a number of British restaurants, including Adlards and Rhodes in the Square, which received a Michelin star.

What restaurants does Tom Kerridge own? After that, I worked for three years at the Marylebone Stephen Bull restaurant. He worked as a chef de partie at a number of restaurants before becoming sous chef at Rhodes in the Square under Gary Rhodes in 1999. He worked as a sous chef at Odettes in London for two more years. He first held the position of head chef in 2001 at Bellamys Dining Room, followed by Great Fosters in Surrey.
He returned to London and worked as senior sous chef at Monsieur Max until 2003. After that, he returned to Adlards in Norwich as head chef. He opened his own gastropub in 2005 under the name The Hand & Flowers, which in 2006 received a Michelin star. In 2012, The Hand & Flowers became the first establishment in history to receive two Michelin stars.
Kerridge’s decision to open his gastropub was influenced by the fact that he describes himself as “not a Michelin-star kind of guy.”His take on a pig roast is his signature dish. He cooks pork belly in a bain-marie, wraps it in the skin, and roasts it. A stuffed pig’s trotter is included with this.
Kerridge has served as a judge on the Great British Menu every year since competing, as well as on Saturday Kitchen, and he has appeared on television in series five and six of the show. On both occasions, he provided the main courses for the final banquet. He was a guest chef on the BBC show Food and Drink in February 2013. In 2015, he became a co-presenter of the show.

Kerridge had previously collaborated with British Airways in 2019 to develop new long-haul menus for the airline’s August passengers; as a part of the centennial celebrations of the airline. The BBC announced on September 6, 2021, that Kerridge would be joining the Great British Menu judging panel for the next season.
