Wes Hohenstein is an American broadcast meterologist currently serving as the chief meterologist for WNCN CBS 17 News in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born and raised in Illinois, Wes also gained a lot of experience working as a meterologist in Louisiana, Utah, Arizona and Texas. He even received a Sunshine Award for his work visiting various schools with CBS 17’s helicopter every day after work. Before WNCN, Wes appeared as the morning weather anchor and reporter for KPRC News in Houston and KOLD TV back in 2003.
