From 2015 to 2021, Al’s career path led him to KALB-TV in Alexandria, where he held the positions of news director and evening anchor. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2009, he worked as a photographer, reporter, and anchor at the same station. His journey began in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was born. Al’s early experience included working in radio and television at WTMJ in Milwaukee. He also showcased his skills as a sports writer and columnist for Community Newspapers from 1987 to 1990.
Subsequently, Al made his way to Rhinelander, Wisconsin, where he dedicated ten years of his life. During this time, he served as both the sports and news director at WJFW.
