He is also recognized for his wide range of controversial interviews that are often compared to his father, Mike Wallace on FOX’s 60 Minutes. Prior to his work on FOX News, Chris worked as a correspondent on CBS News and was a nightly news anchor on NBC Nightly News.

Chris currently serves as a Correspondent news anchor and reporter for The FOX News Sunday program on the FOX News Channel. He first began his career in broadcast journalism by working for the Boston Globe as a columnist and contributor. From there, he joined the WBBM CBS Chicago station in early 1970. He then began appearing on NBC News as an on-air reporter and fill-in anchor for close to fourteen years in New York City.
Wallace then went on to work as a Washington correspondent for NBC News nationally. Eventually, he became the Chief White House correspondent from 1982 to 1989 and moderator of the Mett the Pres program on NBC News. Wallace announced his official departure from NBC back in 1989 and joined ABC news as the Senior host of ABC’s Primetime Thursday and occasionally hosted the Nightline show.
