Collin Morikawa is an American professional golfer globally recognized as a PGA Tour and European Tour player. He is the first American to win the Race to Dubai on the European Tour. He won five PGA Tour including two major championships, the 2020 PGA Championship and the 2021 Open Championship. In May 2018, Morikawa spent three weeks as the top-ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Collin’s arms don’t just hang straight down at the address, they hang slightly out, this gives the impression that the club is going to move around his body, rather than straight up and down. Collin Morikawa PGA Tour

Morikawa made his PGA Tour debut at the 2019 RBC Canadian Open, tying for 14th place. On July 7, Morikawa tied for second at the 3M Open. On July 14, he tied for fourth at the John Deere Classic. As a result, Morikawa was admitted to the PGA Tour for the 2019-20 season.[9] On October 1, Morikawa won the Barracuda Championship, defeating Troy Merritt by three points.

In August 2021, Morikawa finished third at the Olympic Games but lost in a seven-man playoff for the bronze medal. In September, Morikawa competed for the U.S. team in the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. After defeating Viktor Hovland 3–1 in the Sunday singles match, he helped the U.S. team to a 19–9 victory. On the European Tour’s DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, he won. He was the first American to win the Race to Dubai, too.

After 54 holes at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in January 2023, Morikawa held a six-shot lead. He went the first 67 holes of the tournament without a bogey, but then made three consecutive shots and ultimately finished second by two strokes behind Jon Rahm; he broke the PGA Tour’s record for the largest 54-hole lead squandered.
