Marash began his career where he worked at WCTC-AM (1450) in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he hosted a nightly talk show called Dave Marash On Call. He had also worked as a reporter for WPIX. In New York City, he reported on both news and sports for WCBS Newsradio 88 and WNEW-FM. He later worked at WCBS-TV in New York. Marash hosted ESPN’s Baseball Tonight and NBC’s GrandStand, which alternated between being a pregame show for the National Football League and a sports anthology series depending on the season. Marash hosted a magazine-style science and technology show called Beyond Tomorrow during the early years of the Fox television network.
