Gottmik is an American drag queen performer and make-up artist well recognized for coming second and third runner up in the thirteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Born and raised as Kade Gottlieb in Arizona, Gottmik also gained fame as the make-up artist for various celebrities like Todrick Hall, Heidi Klum, French Montana, Miranda Lambert and more. In 2021, Kade became the first transman to compete on RuPaul’s Drag Race. He also performed alongside renowned drag queen icons like Alyssa Edwards, Aquaria and Violet Chachiki.

Gottmik’s passion for drag began when he was only eighteen years old. He experimented with his drag style and makeup for the first time when he was in high school. Later, he pursued fashion and product development at the Fashion institute of Design where he became a professional fashionista.

Gottmik made an apperance on the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards that were held on September 20, 2021, at the Microsoft Theatre. He was among the list of invited celebrity guests who were in attendance that day. He appeared on stage with Rupaul as the Drag Race show won its 2021 Emmy award.
