Over the years, Gwen received multiple awards for her commitment to community service, including the “2004 Voices Against Violence Award,” “2005 Woman Of the Year” from D.C.’s Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and the “2009 New Endeavors By Women Volunteer Award.” She was also named one of the “2014 Top 100 Women In the State of Maryland” and received the “Champion Of the Year Award” from Comfort Cases in 2018.
