Jimmy Fortune Jr. is Jimmy’s youngest son. Sadly, he was born with spina bifida. In 2011, he suffered from bone infections in his hip and right leg. This infection has caused a lot of complications. He was later admitted back into the hospital with extremely low blood pressure.
The doctors admitted him into ICU because the infection had gotten into his bloodstream. They later did a blood transfusion which made a huge difference. The doctors, and Jimmy Jr, decided the best route was to amputate his right leg.
