Juliana is a very ambitious student meteorologist currently serving as weather anchor and reporter for KCCI 8 News in Des Moines. She mostly anchors the station’s weekday and weekend morning shows during the summer when she is not in school. Juliana is still pursuing her BS in Meteorology at Oklahoma University.
Thus, she proudly represents OU as a Team Lead in the Office of Admissions and Recruitments as a Campus Tour Guide. She is also a co-director of Media for The Oklahoma Weather Lab (OWL). Mejia is set to graduate from OU in 2022 with a BS in Meteorology. In May 2021, she served as a weekend anchor for the Hearst Media group in Des Mones Iowa as well.
