But she says her favorite storm was the blizzard of February 8-9, 2013. “I remember watching the radar at 3 a.m. during the height of the event wide awake thinking, ‘this is a 100-year event. We may never live to see another storm like it.’” Sure enough, Connecticut got crushed. Some towns received over 3 feet of snow.
