She forecasts the weather in Monterey Bay between 5 and 11 p.m. on weekdays. Patel has hosted the weekend edition of Good Morning America. She began her career in journalism in 1993 and quickly advanced to the weather center. The weather piqued my interest because it is always a major news story, no matter the season.
