Wentworth Miller ( born Wentworth Earl Miller III) is an actor and screenwriter of English and American descent. He gained fame after acting in the Fox series Prison Break as Michael Scofield, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 2005. He began his acting career with the 2013 thriller film Stoker, which was followed by a recurring part on The CW’s The Flash, which led to him becoming a series regular on the spin-off Legends of Tomorrow.
