Being a native of Woodbridge, Virginia, Daniel was excited to work from Maryland and study different weather climate changes both regionally and nationally. His passion for weather began when he was only a five-year-old child.
Before ABC News, he served as an on-air meteorologist for WUSA9 news based in Washington DC. There he was in charge of broadcasting and producing weather reports for the station’s weekday morning and evening weather segments. Before his work at WUSA9, Daniel also worked as a weather forecaster for KRTV News based in Great Falls, Montana for close to five years.
During his tenure there, he was able to report live from various snowstorms, and severe hurricanes and tracked countless tornadoes all over the United States.
