Ernie Haase Career
Before joining Redeemed in 1986, he began his singing career with the gospel group the Noblemen and made appearances in a number of other groups, including Earthlight and the DMB Band (Dixie Melody Boys). Haase joined the legendary Cathedrals in 1990 and recorded more than a dozen albums with them before the Cathedrals stopped performing in 1999.
What a Difference a Day Makes and Never Alone marked the beginning of Haase’s solo career in 1999 and 2000, respectively. Before the lineup of Haase (tenor), Ryan Seaton (lead), Doug Anderson (baritone), and Tim Duncan (bass) was joined by pianist Roy Webb for the 2005 album Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, earlier versions of Ernie Haase & Signature Sound appeared on the albums Stand by Me (released in 2003) and Great Love (released in 2004) as the Signature Sound Quartet. It was released by Gaither Music Group and reached number 59 on the Billboard 200 and number six on the Billboard Christian Albums chart.
In 2006, they released the holiday album Christmas with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, and in early 2007, Get Away, Jordan reached number one on the Christian charts. Together, a collaboration with the Gaither Vocal Band, saw them return to the Top Five later in the same year. In 2010, Dream On, released in 2008 and featuring the same four singers from their eponymous album, received a Grammy nomination for Best Southern/Country/Bluegrass Gospel Album. Additionally, it made it to the Christian album chart’s Top Five. A Tribute to the Cathedral Quartet debuted toward the end of 2010 and reached number three.

The group’s first album, Here We Go Again, was released in 2012 on the new label Stowtown Records, which was started by Haase and producer Wayne Haun. In 2013, they released the album Glorious Day and the video for Christmas Live! After that, in 2014, the live concert Oh, What a Savior was released by Gaither Music Group.
Happy People and The Inspiration of Broadway, released in 2015, saw Signature Sound and Ernie Haase return to Showtown. Showboat, Carousel, and Les Misérables, among other renowned musicals, were featured in the latter. The Favorite Hymns of Fanny Crosby was released in 2016 and featured Haase, Devin McGlamery (lead), Dustin Dyke (baritone), Paul Harkey (bass), and pianist Tyler Vestal. In 2018, Clear Skies followed, with the Booth Brothers and Voices of Lee as special guests.2019 saw the release of the holiday-themed A Jazzy Little Christmas.
