Jessica currently works as a weeknight and weekend reporter at FOX 2 in Detroit, Michigan. She developed an interest in journalism while at young and her dream was to work in one of her television stations that she grew up watching. Jessica has been fortunate enough to spend her entire journalistic profession in her beautiful state.

Previously, Dupnack served as the crime reporter in Flint at the ABC affiliate, WJRT. Dupnack started during the height of the city’s water crisis. For three years, from her first day to her last, she reported water-related stories. It was an eye-opening experience, to say the least. Jessica was able to gain the trust of the community during a dire time for the city. The city and its fine people will always hold a special place in her heart. Through her reports, she received several awards during her time in Flint for her water crisis coverage including an Emmy and was the main contributor for two Edward R. Murrow regional awards.

After graduating from Michigan State University, her first job was working as a ‘one man band’ reporter in northern Michigan at the FOX/CBS affiliate in Cadillac. That’s where Dupnack learned that the news thing is not an easy gig but well worth it. After paying her dues, she was moved to the anchor desk to cast news for four and a half-hour morning show called ‘Michigan This Morning.
