Liane Morejon is an American Emmy award-winning journalist currently serving as a reporter at WPLG Local 10 News in Miami, Florida. She joined the station in January 2010. While in college, she interned at the Local 10 News

Liane is an Emmy-award-winning journalist currently working as a reporter at WPLG Local 10 News in Miami, Florida. She joined the WPLG station in January 2010. She can currently be seen reporting on weekdays at noon, 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. or on Sundays at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. While at the station, she has reported most of the great stories and news ranging on different topics making national headlines including desperate migrants trying hard to make it to the shores of America, crime and public corruption in South Florida.

Prior to becoming a reporter, she served as an intern at Local 10 News. Later, she was promoted to be part of the WPLG’s team of producers. Liane started her career at WPLG as an associate producer of the morning news and later she had the chance to be the head producer of the 5 a.m hour. In 2013, she changed her position and began serving as a traffic anchor before becoming a full-time reporter.

Morejon received a Suncoast Emmy Award for her role in team coverage of the Parkland massacre.
