As a result of the single’s poor performance, Arista Records canceled the contract they had signed with them. When one of the sisters, Toni, left the group to pursue a solo career, the other sisters, including Tamar, appeared in the music video for Toni’s single, ‘Seven Whole Days.’ The sisters returned in 1996 with a new album, ‘So Many Ways,’ which peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
