Tamar Braxton is a singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality from the United States. Braxton began her career in 1990 as a founding member of the R&B singing group The Braxtons, which she formed with her sisters. The Braxtons formed as a trio in 1996 and released their debut album, So Many Ways, shortly thereafter. DreamWorks Records released her debut self-titled album in 2000.

During the ‘ELLE/Style360’ NYC Fashion Week, she modeled for the ‘Front Row Couture’ collection. She also co-hosted Tameka Cottle’s VH1 talk show “Tiny Tonight.” She hosted ‘The Culturelist,’ a show on Centric, BET’s sister channel.
