Previously. he worked as the Secretary of Education for The United States Government from 1985 to 1988 when Ronald Reagan was still the president. William even served as the Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy under former President George H . W . Bush. He is also the co-director of Empower America and a long-time supporter of the United States Republican Party.
